Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Harvest of Nations ("we", "us") operates the website at harvestofnations.org and the Harvest of Nations mobile app. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep this deliberately short and specific so you can see exactly what happens to your data.
You do not need an account
The Harvest of Nations app has no sign-up or login. You can browse devotionals, sermons, events and our store without creating an account or giving us any personal information at all. We only receive information when you choose to send it.
Information you give us
- Prayer requests. The name, contact details and request text you submit. These are visible only to our prayer and intercessory team.
- Testimonies. What you write, plus the name you attach. Testimonies you submit may be published on our website or app β please do not include anything you would not want shown publicly.
- Counseling and appointment bookings. Your name, email, phone number and chosen time slot, shared with the assigned pastor or counselor.
- Membership and contact forms. The name, email and phone number you enter.
- Orders and donations. Your name, email and, for physical items, a delivery address so we can fulfil the order.
Payments and card details
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiry date and security code go directly to Stripe and are never seen by, sent to, or stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation of payment and the last four digits for reference. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
If you use the optional card scanning feature, the app asks permission to use your camera. The scan happens on your device through Stripe's software to read the card number. No photograph or video is stored, and nothing from your camera is transmitted to us.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we store an anonymous device token so we can send you ministry updates such as service reminders, new devotionals and event announcements. The token identifies a device, not a person. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and you may ask us to delete the stored token.
How we use your information
Only to do the thing you asked us to do: pray for your request, respond to your message, arrange your appointment, deliver your order, or send you the updates you opted into. We also use aggregate, non-identifying counts to understand which content is useful.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Who else handles your information
We keep this to a minimum. Payments and donations are handled by Stripe, as described above. Our website and database run on third-party hosting and infrastructure providers, who store your submissions on our behalf under contract and may not use them for their own purposes. Sermon and live-stream videos are served by YouTube (Google), which may set its own cookies when a video loads.
We do not transfer your information to anyone else. If you would like the current list of the providers we use, email info@harvestofnations.org and we will send it.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep submissions only as long as needed for the purpose they were given, and for order and donation records as long as required for accounting. You may ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Email info@harvestofnations.org and we will respond within 30 days. Because the app has no account system, there is no account to close β a deletion request removes the records tied to your name and contact details.
Children
Our services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access limited to the ministry staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending sensitive details you would not want stored β for confidential pastoral matters, use a counseling appointment rather than a written form.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
